We hope everyone has had a great summer vacation!

As wonderful as summer has been for us- we can’t wait to get back to the studio to see our friends again and DANCE!

We know it seems so early to be thinking about the fall with school not even finished for the year- but with music, swimming, gymnastics, and all that good stuff- we figured we would get a head start on fall planning. We tried to keep everything as close as we could to last year, but we had to make some changes to accommodate new classes!
 
So please click on the “schedule” tab and have a peek at our 2010-2011 schedule. Everything is subject to change (of course), so feedback is appreciated. We tried to accommodate everyone’s requests to date, where possible. If you have any specific requests-please let us know, as we will do our best to work them in to the schedule!
 
And as always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask!

If there is something that is not there that you are interested in, please let us know and we will try to work it in to the schedule!
 

We are also having two summer camps for age groups 4-6 and 7-10 on July 19th-23rd and August 16th-20th. We will also be holding a half day “Camp for Tots” July 26-30th, as well as an Advanced Dance Camp for older dancers late in the summer.

Space is limited, so please contact the studio for more information.

Our 2010 Dance Recital “Some Days You Gotta Dance” will take place Sunday, May 3oth at The Arts and Culture Centre!

Tickets go on sale on May3rd at The Arts and Culture Centre box office

The Dance Academy’s 2009 Christmas Celebrations!

Our Adult Christmas party will be held on Friday, December 18th starting at 8pm. We wish to extend an invitation to all student and parents. We hope you can all make it!

Our Children’s Christmas party will be on Saturday, December 19th from 10:30am-12:30pm. There will be games, a sing along, lots of treats and of course Santa will be making a special trip to the studio all the way from the North Pole!

October 27th, 2009

One of our senior dancers has been recently diagnosed with the H1N1 virus.  She is at the studio all of the time, is a member of the senior performing group, and is in close contact with both of us.

Due to the fact that we have been exposed to the virus - and are not feeling well ourselves, we have decided to cancel classes for today, Tuesday, October 27th. We do not want to spread the virus and we would also like the opportunity to completely disinfect the studio before you come back for classes.

The diagnosed student was quite sick and ended up in the ER so we are trying to be cautious and we hope you understand.

It is that time again…

Just a notice to all those students who are paying monthly that Month Two fees are due beginning the week of Saturday, October 17th.

Pre-authorized payment forms are also avilable in the office for those wishing to have their monthly fees automatically charged to their Visa or Mastercard.

Hi everybody!

Thanks to everyone who has come out to see our new studio and register for your fall classes. We were very excited to see everyone after the summer break and to meet all of our new students and parents. If you haven’t registered yet be sure to get in contact soon, there is still time!

We are very excited to begin our new dance season at our new location unfortunately, this start will have to be delayed. The inspections we need to gain occupancy into our building have not been completed yet. So unfortunately this means that we will have to begin our dance season two weeks late – the official opening will be Saturday, September 26th. This allows the contractor time to get the necessary inspections needed.

We are very disappointed in these recent developments, but we know it will be worth the wait! Thank you to everyone for being understanding and supportive during this exciting (but sometimes stressful) time!
